Each vehicle is equipped with a rugged in-cabin Minegaze Data Device (MDD) that handles all onboard processing, event validation, and communications. Integrated antennas provide reliable GSM, GPS, and mesh network connectivity.

In areas with limited cellular coverage, Minegaze automatically creates a vehicle-to-vehicle mesh network, ensuring reliable data transfer without additional Wi-Fi infrastructure. Advanced algorithms identify which vehicles are most likely to reach a connectivity zone, enabling intelligent data handoff and rapid cloud synchronisation.

Additional sensors validate production events: a bucket-mounted sensor detects vibration during loading, and the MDD confirms a load when thresholds are met. Bucket and chassis-mounted sensors measure inclination offset to accurately detect tipping events. Operator ID, material selection, and dispatch interfaces provide additional control input directly from the cab. The system is fully developed in-house, with advanced diagnostics and remote support capabilities.
